Sorry updates have been so few and far between. I’m in the process of beginning a new stage of my life and things have just gotten too backlogged. I know Chris has UNDERGROUND coming out this month and I’m trying to get some things into the gallery I’ve found, but a ton of things to do with so little time to do it. Also I’ve been sick. No excuse I know, but….. Okay, the dog ate my homework. I’m sure Chris would understand that. Ha!
Here is the official trailer for Chris’ new film I AM WRATH where he stars with his TRUE BLOOD alum Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte) and John Travolta. The trailer looks really good with a lot of Chris in it, which is definitely a good thing. I’m sick and tired of seeing Chris’ talent being so gravely underused. But this time it looks like the casting department got it right. The only gripe I have with the trailer is that it looks like this film is copying the huge success of the Keanu Reeves film John Wick of last year. There’s a similar scene in Reeves’ film where after the death of his wife and the death of the puppy she gave him to remember her by, Wick goes on a killing spree to avenge Daisy’s killing. In this trailer it shows Travolta knocking out some plaster board with his elbow to take out a suitcase with some guns in it. There is a scene in the Wick film where Wick takes a sledgehammer to crack open a concrete floor where he pulls out a strongbox that has tokens that can be used within the fictional world of Wick, and a lot of guns he plans on using on the men who killed Daisy and took his car. I don’t know about you but I’m so tired of the retread within Hollywood and their inability to make anything original these days. Or if they do a la John Wick, Hollywood then decides they’re going to give us at least fifty different iterations of the same story when John Wick was obviously the better film. Ah well, such is life I guess. But at least Chris has a bigger part in this than he’s had in other productions that have grossly under used him.
Chris completed a film called THE DIARY OF A TEENAGE GIRL where he plays the part of Pascal. The film has been a darling at film festivals including Sundance. The film has gained distribution and the first official trailer is out. The film also stars Chris’ TRUE BLOOD co-star Alexander Skarsgård, who as you all remember played the part of Norse vampire Eric Northman and Chris the part of the Vampire Authority Roman Zimojic.
I’m right now trying to do some cleaning up of some of Chris’ work on TRUE BLOOD as Roman Zimojic. For some reason I never got these into the gallery. My apologies. Enjoy.
Looks like Chris may be heading back to television. He’s bagged a pilot called I Suck At Girls for FOX. More below.
Chris On Roman’s Fate and A Possible “SVU” Return

Chris said at the recent Comic Con that his TRUE BLOOD character Roman Zimojic is indeed dead. Russell (Denis O’Hare) did pretty much stake him resulting in the ‘true death’ for our Authority member. However, one interesting tidbit coming out is that he is entertaining returning to LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT. Here is what he said, more below the cut:
I do know there are three Facebook pages dedicated to Chris/Elliot coming back. They are:
I’m thinking there has been a lot of pressure on @DickWolf and @WarrenLeight about the sad state of the show since Chris left and Leight fired all the writers. If you are a fan of the show and of Chris, keep up the pressure. Make these idiots see how valuable Chris was to this show. Let them know who the “Real Star” of the show was. I’m also finding it interesting that with the current Emmy nominations where for the first time Mariska Hargitay failed to nab a nom, this is telling on the show.
Here finally is the media for Chris’ last episode of TRUE BLOOD. So sorry this is late in coming. My mother comes home from the hospital on Friday and I’ve had a lot of preparation in advance of that. Also I’m sure most of you know I had the homepage of the media site hacked. I’ve replaced it and informed my host of that attack. Here’s hoping the bastard is caught. I’m tired of this.
So, what do we think of what happened to our favourite Authority head? Does anyone truly believe Roman has met with the True Death? Chris has been saying in interviews he was glad it was Denis O’Hare (Russell Edgington) who did it. Considering their prior working relationship on LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT‘s first season episode The Third Guy. I personally don’t think we’ve seen the end of Roman Zimojic. And what did we think of Salome’s (Valentina Cervi) tear?
