I’ve finally been able to get ahold of Chris’ event images as of this date for the beginning of 2014. Most are from Sundance with regards to Chris’ two films WHITE BIRD IN A BLIZZARD and THEY CAME TOGETHER, both films getting their premieres at Sundance. I’m not tagging the images anymore because of how long it takes when there’s a lot of them. All I’m asking is if you’re going to repost, please consider crediting UNABRIDGED as your source. Thanks.

Chris apparently was Sophia’s date, attending the premiere of Open Road Films’ “Justin Bieber’s Believe” at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on December 18, 2013 in Los Angeles, California. Sophia looks so stylish and grown up. I love her entire ensemble. Dad looks pretty proud of her. I would be too.
Want to bring Christopher Meloni home for Christmas? MAN OF STEEL on BluRay/DVD/Digital Download is out! Check out the features included on the disc.
Strong Characters, Legendary Roles (25:59) Zack Snyder, Lawrence Fishburne, Henry Cavill, Kevin Costner, David S. Goyer, Amy Adams, Geoff Johns and others talk about the history of Superman and his appeal to everyone over the years. There’s some behind-the-scenes looks while all the actors talk about their characters related to Superman.
All-Out Action (26:02) The training for the physical scenes. They trained their bodies and minds to be ready for each scene. We may not really think about what the actors have to do in order to prepare for movies like this. It’s easy for us to get pulled into the special FX and CG work done but they bring up a great point about getting the actors physically and mentally ready for their roles. It’s pretty impressive to see what they did.
Krypton Decoded (6:42) Dylan Sprayberry (Clark Kent, age 13) talks about some of the special FX and working with WETA in New Zealand. We see things like how Krypton blew up, the different Kryptonian ships and more.
Superman 75th Anniversary Animated Short (2:03) Seen online (including HERE).
New Zealand: Home of Middle-Earth (6:35) This was a little strange to be included. Weta worked on some scenes in Man of Steel but this feature is only about The Hobbit.
Planet Krypton (17:18) Talk about the message from Zod to planet Earth and how aliens are perceived. The question is asked, who and what is Superman?
Journey of Discovery, Creating Man of Steel (2:54:05) This was my favorite feature. You can watch the entire movie and at certain points, Zack Snyder or other members of the cast and crew will pop up and point on things you might have missed or weren’t aware of. It’s sort of like commentary we see in movies except the behind-the-scenes moments, talks and concept art take precedent over the movie. The movie is delegated to either a picture in picture or completely covered up by the commentary. There’s even a close look at the glyphs used in the movie and the what they mean.
I’m hoping in the next couple to three days to get some images up in the gallery for you guys before a change of direction comes for this site. I have a lot of event images I’ve decided I’m not going to tag given the immense amount of them. I also have a lot of stills and promo pics to add from Chris’ twelve years as Det. Elliot Stabler from LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT I really want to complete. The change for this site will be coming toward the end of week. You’ll know when it happens. I’m hoping you’ll love what is coming up. Stay tuned.
An article that pretty much sums up my feelings on SVU without Chris. It’s from a British site where they are just getting season 13 without Stabler.
Get used to Law&Order without Stabler

We are IN the new season of Law & Order Special Victims Unit and any fan would know what the sad news is: Detective Elliot Stabler is missing in action. It seems the talented Christopher Meloni, who plays Stabler, is going to be missing for the entire season and not just for one or two episodes.
In the last season we saw the ever controversial lawman shoot at a young girl who was waving a gun in public. We were led to believe that, being a man of conscience, Stabler had retired because he felt bad.
It was not the closure we thought we would get, but perhaps given the real reason Meloni left, there was no time to say a proper goodbye. Several reports point out that the talented actor could not come to an agreement when it came to his new contract. This is simplified as Meloni may have wanted a raise and the producers were not hearing any of that, and he threatened to leave – and they said by all means.
It is almost like the situation at Generations right now. In showbiz, the show must go on and no one is bigger than the show.
That only works for soapies because of the loose and slow pace of the storytelling process. It gives the viewer time to adjust to the newly introduced characters. In drama series the pace is much faster. In action series, we meet the principal characters from the onset and it is here where we decide whether we like them or not.
So as it stands we can demarcate between the people who feature in Law & Order, Law & Order SVU and Law & Order UK. Each title has its team and that forms part of its identity. If you were to buy older SVU DVD sets you would see Meloni and Mariska Hargitay on the cover – they are the faces we associate with the series.
It is easier to remove a character from a group as they do on Grey’s Anatomy, but when a show has a pair of actors, when one is gone it is hard to move on. Take the Charlie Sheen situation in Two and a Half Men: as talented as Ashton Kutcher is, he is not Sheen. The same goes for Stabler’s replacement, Danny Pino. He is like that perfect white denture where there was once a front tooth; he’ll work but the “smile” will never be the same.
I have a “special” surprise for you. I have come of Chris’ promotional images from season one of LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT where he played Det. Elliot Stabler for twelve years. I hope you enjoy a flashback to season one. Enjoy.

I finally have a promotional appearance Chris made back in June for the film MAN OF STEEL. It was the Jimmy Fallon show where Chris talked about some moments from his childhood to going on safari with his kids, Sophia and Dante. Later he and Jimmy played a game of velcro ball. Pretty funny.
